Laila at 9 months

Laila is becoming such a little girl. She loves to play with toys, she loves to watch what all the other kids around her are doing, I know she wishes she could run and play with them. I started working at a childcare place and she just sits and plays. I am so happy to see that she is adjusting well. I love that I have a job where I can still play and watch my kids. I am grateful for the opportunity I still have to watch my girls grow up day by day. Laila likes do make all sort of sounds, she mama and dada but I know she doesn't really understand what it means, she likes to make fishy faces, she laughs all day and I love how excited she gets when she sees me coming (she does it with Devin and Natalia too). She doesn't crawl and roll over but she scoots on her bum. I love when I leave her in a room and I find her stuck in between furniture. She is always seeking for little pieces of garbage she can stick in her mouth. All the things she does bring me such joy.  Here is a video of how cute she is.

New haircut

Natalia got a new haircut this past weekend. I was in the process of deciding if we should just trim it or cut it. The decision was made for me when Natalia took scissors to her hair. I am happy that she looks beautiful with short or long hair.

I can't believe she is 3 years old in two weeks.

Daddy Time

Devin was home this pasted weekend and there was a lot of playing that happened. Devin helped build this fort for Natalia and Laila. They had a lot of fun. Natalia has been spending a lot of time in there just playing with her toys. I am grateful for a little time to myself. Thanks Dad!

Dancing Party

Natalia had her friend Maci come over. We made some fun braclets, had a tea party, and danced. It was so cute to watch them play together.

Joy Ride

I love watching the girls grow up together. I love to see the fun things they do now. I can only imagine how much they will be able to do when Laila can run and play with Natalia. It has been so wonderful to have Natalia be such a helper and include Laila in everything. I think Laila has love it as well because she lights up every time she sees her sister

Oh where did my slipper go?

Last night Devin got home before bedtime. Natalia was so excited she just wanted to be around him. She usually hangs out with him during the weekends so it is a special day when she sees him before bedtime. Anyway Devin was busy fixing something in our storage and she wanted to see what he was doing so she was running around looking for her slippers to go outside. She couldn’t find her slipper and was growing impatient so she decided she would just put on the next best thing.  It was so cute and silly I was laughing so hard.
