Christmas day

I am sad to say that I didn't get any pictures of the Jackson cousins but that doesn't mean Natalia didn't like spending time with them. I think she loved baby Nora a lot this time around, all she wanted to do is kiss, hold and hug her.

These next pictures are of the Cheney family and I know my mother will love to see them.

I'm a big girl now!

I am so proud and excited to announce "Laila is in pull-up diapers!" She has been so good at telling us when she needs to go potty. I am still not ready for her to have underwear but this is one step closer. I am sure we will have lots of accidents but anything is better then having to change diapers all day long. She is 18 months and loves to play and talk all day long, of course there are only a few words she can say but that is the start of long conversations we will be having in the near future.

Christmas Fun

25 days of Christmas! This was the best idea in the world, we all had a lot of fun! We made crafts, Christmas cards, found out what we were having, went to the movies with Ethan and Teos, saw Santa, and lots of other things. Here are a few pictures.
Everyday Natalia took a link off and the pants traveled up. On the links it had an activity we would do that day.
We started out having a dress-up picnic lunch.
Gingerbread houses are so fun. I think they had more fun eating the candy
Hot coco night!
Popcorn and a movie night
They even got to open a present before Christmas.

Same, Same

I have been amazed at how much Natalia and Laila are alike, I am sure all kids are but it is fun to watch Laila do the things Natalia use to do. When Natalia was little she would not go anywhere without her stuffed monkey Mono. She would drag him around everywhere and often get upset if she couldn't find him.  I guess it is Laila's turn to share the same joy with the one and only Mono! Laila loves to carry him around and loves giving him hugs and kisses, she also loves to feed him a bottle. It is fun to see how much joy a little stuffed monkey can bring to them. The sad part is that Natalia would like to play with Mono but Laila wins that fight every time. Natalia is really good at excepting that Mono is now someone Laila loves and adores just as much as she once did.

It's a girls!

We went to the doctors today to find out what we were having. I was scared Natalia was going to be disappointed if we got told it was a girl. She had been telling everyone it was going to be a baby brother and even today she drew a picture of what her little brother was going to look like. Once we heard the news she was so excited and really sweet about it. I know my Natalia and she will love the baby just as much if it was a boy or girl. I really couldn't be any happier!!!!!!!! I am so blessed for two beautiful girls and to add one more is amazing.

Happy Halloween

I know if i don"t take a moment to post these pictures I will forget to do it later. I have so many pictures to add to my blog so stay tuned because there is more to come.

I made this shirt for Natalia because she had a Halloween party to go to and I didn't want her to get to hot in her dinosaur costume. She was a little pumpkin princess. She likes this costume better then her other one.

Laila being cute. This picture was taken in Seattle at a pumpkin patch. Those pictures are my next to post.

Natalia helped me make caramel apples. She love helping because she got to taste all the toppings.

Trick or Treat!

They look so cute. I wish Natalia's head wasn't so big she might be able to keep it on a little better

Helping time pass by

Now that Devin has returned to school I need a way to pass the time. I have found that keeping myself busy daily and planning events helps with the long months. So I have decided to give you a peek into my months ahead.

I will be heading to Seattle on October 1st – October 15th  Thanks to my brother and Sarah for inviting me and helping pay for half the ticket. I am super excited!!!!!

Then I will come back to get ready for Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. I love this time of the year.

January starts us all over with birthdays.

April will be a good month because I will be celebrating Natalia’s  birthday and welcoming the newest member of the familyJ If you didn’t get that I AM PREGNANT!!! I am only about 6 weeks but I have decided to share the news with everyone except Natalia. I don’t want to tell her until she can see my tummy getting bigger and bigger. I know she will be so excited and I will video it all when we decide to tell her.

So long sweet summer

Now its officially summer break is over. Devin starts school tomorrow and to mark how great it has been to have him around i finally decided to post our family vacation pictures. I wish I could post all of them but my computer would blow up or something like that. We traveled 650 miles to get to our vacation home. The trip there was a lot better then I had expected. The girls did great and we only had to make one unexpected stop for Natalia to take a potty break. On the way back it seemed like we had to make a few more stops but over all it really was a great trip.

I wish we could have gotten the girls in this picture but they fell asleep and that was more important then waking them up for another family picture.

The views were just breath taking, I wish we had a better camera, this picture doesn't do it justice.

We traveled on the bus to Logan's Peak. It was just amazing and some what scary. The road was narrow and very steep with alot of cars traveling up and down. The girls liked this alot better, it allowed them a little freedom. It was about an hour drive up so I was happy to relax and enjoy the ride because my kids weren't strapped in and crying.

This was the whole Gang! We hardly spend any money on food because we packed our lunches and eat were we could. This was along side of a parking lot. It was very entertaining watching the people circle around finding car spots. It took our friends 45 MINUTES to find a spot. Finally Sarah had to jump out and stand in a a spot as the people pulled out and just tell all the other cars that were trying to jump in that it was reserved.

The best hike I have ever been on. It was just beautiful. It took a while and a few slips to finally make it to the top. It was well worth it.

That's us!

Devin was able to go fishing

This is a little ghetto but cute in it's own way. Devin took Natalia fishing.

We were able to spend some really needed time with grandma Cheney. It was one adventure ofter another with the girls really enjoying their stay. It always seems to amaze me on how creative my mom is. She is always looking for ways to make life more exciting. I know I appreciate all the love and time she shares with my kids and I know they recognize the love she has for them. Thanks mom!

Bubble bath time!

She was able to buy this taffy display from the store. The girls loved playing with the balls. Laila would just throw them out then put them back in and Natalia liked to make rows of balls and call them her trains.

Sleepover in a tent! She had fun playing with the flashlights.

Laila being cute

With the help of Devin my mom created a treasure adventure with a map to help guide her to the hidden treasure.
