The girls in action!

Natalia is dancing around and having fun. I love the ending, she has perfect timing.
Laila scooting back.
Just like their mom, maybe they do have the Guatemalan gene!
Laila always gets called the wrong name and her hair is always a little crazy.

Laila; The Cute, The Daring, The Stinky

Laila is growing so fast I find myself reaching for the camera daily. It is fun to see her become more mobile and energetic. She doesn’t roll over on her own yet but she is trying and can do it but I think she just chooses not to. The funny thing about her is she loves to scoot herself backwards and kick herself around in circles. She is so cute and fun. I can’t wait until Kip and Alisha get to experience their first baby.
Big smiles while we got ready to go visit Devin at school.

Kicking herself off the swing. She has fallen before and still I haven't learned my lesson.

This happens more then you can imagine.

I think is is worth a second look! The joys of feeding them baby food.

I know that most of us make a New Year resolution each year and well we all secretly want to lose weight or just get fit. If this is your resolution and need a little help then Natalia and Laila are here to show you how easy these exercises are. If they can do it then pretty much anyone else can too.
I finally sat down and took pictures of Natalia and her “dance-exercise” moves. She is always trying a new trick, lifting one leg, balancing on her toes, bending her back or just about anything her body allows her to do. Laila has her own moves also, but if you want lessons on how to be incredibly cute she can help with that.
Up and down

If you need some support just grab on to a chair or window sill.

This one is harder then it looks, you need to keep your body straight while you balance

Down and cross your leg

Lift your leg and smile because you are almost done

Cooling down, lay on  your back and take a couple of deep breathes while you lift your legs.

Roll over and arch your back
I call this the "bend and reach"

Ben Is Home

I am super excited to announce that Edgar and Sarah had their baby. He was just so cute and perfect. He weighed 6lb. 12oz.; they named him Benjamin after Benjamin Franklin. The funny thing was Sarah took me out for my birthday and that next morning she had Ben.

Laila update

I had her sitting down playing with toys and when I came back she was on her tummy playing. I don't know how that happened. She is also rolling from her belly to her back. She struggles but she will become a pro with a couple more tries.
Today was a really fun day for Natalia, Laila and me because Sarah (sister-in-law) took me out for my birthday. We went to Applebee’s and had the most wonderful French-dip and a bowl of the yummiest tortilla soup. It was so fun to be able to have lunch and talk girl stuff all day. It also gave us time to shop some good deals. I don’t know if you can tell but Sarah is due any day now and it will be the first baby boy on my side of the family. We are so excited for them and can’t wait to see him. He is going to get lost in a world of princesses, dancing, and everything pink. Thanks Sarah for the “best day ever”! (Tangled)

First time all together in a van.
Waiting for our food our waiter was really funny and the manager was trying to make our experience even better by checking on us. I think he was scared because we really had alot going on.
Laila was there too! She was so good didn't even make a peep.

Can you tell who is real?

On a Sunday afternoon

Natalia came home from church today and only wanted to play with her dolly. She took her for a walk in the baby stroller, then she sat down and read her a story, she had lunch with her, jumped on the bed, went to the doctors office because the dolly hurt her leg jumping on the bed, pretended to take a nap with her, and she even took her on a picnic to feed the ducks. All this fun in just a couple of hours I can’t wait to see what they will be doing the rest of the day together. Thanks Mindi for the dolly!

Birthday Time

Happy Birthday to me! I am now 27 years old (so the papers say) and I thought that birthdays were suppose to get more pointless each year but I can’t say that has been the case for me. I had a great time and I am grateful to those that helped make it a good one. Thanks everyone for all your calls and texts. Thanks for all the grandparents that watched our kids so we could enjoy a wonderful dinner and movie.
Devin and I went out to dinner and had the most wonderful meal. It tasted really good and it was awesome being able to talk about anything we wanted without getting interrupted a zillion times by little kids needing our attention. The food was good but the service was excellent. Our waiter was just on the ball, taking our order, refilling our drinks, bringing us our endless salads and bread. It was a great experience and we will go back. (THANKS DUSTY)We then took Natalia to watch Tangled and it was so perfect watching how excited she was and the movie was so cute. I have to say one of my favorite princess movies. As for gifts Devin got me a jewelry holder and to add to it bought me two necklaces and a bunch of earrings. I also got a hand bag and I am on the look for some brown boots or a nice warm jacket to add to my collections of clothes and shoes that I don’t need.
