Yellowstone Trip

I wish the other 3 babies could stand and hold hands with the older kids. I guess next year it will be a little easier! I love all these kids!

The hotel we stayed at had a really pretty nature walk we took the kids on!

Standing under the umbrella tree.

We had a special story time and to go along with the book I made them their own Russian dolls.

My beautiful mom holding Sadie! I am a little worried Sadie's hair might be turning blond. Laila still had brown hair until her first birthday.

It started getting hot in Yellowstone so we were happy to find a place to cool down.

My little monkey

We didn't just roast smores we made some biscupies (The original name is Woofums, if you haven't tried them you are missing out. You roast a biscuit and then fill the cups with putting, pie filling, whip cream, the possibilities are endless)

I love this picture! Grandparents are over ran with kids.

Natalia caught a mino with her hands!

I told the kids that Smokey the bear lost his hat, my kids were really into my  story and Edgar's kids didn't know who smoky was.

End of Kindergarten

I had been so excited for her last day of Kindergarten and then I woke up with a terrible pain in my neck. It was very painful to move my head. Not a good day to start of a very important day for my Natalia.

Natalia's BFF Casie, this little girl came up with crazy stories. I am glad Natalia was able to make friend quickly.

Here he is Mr. Joshua!

Poor Mr. Joshua, he was trying to hold back tiers the whole time so he cute the program short or just sped things up.

Natalia's last project was giving an oral report on turtles. She had to make a costume so this is her turtle shell.

She was not excited about talking to people. She wore a pin the said push me and as people pushed  it she had to recite her report. I can't believer she will be in 1st grade I am looking forward to see what next year will bring but not looking forward to packing lunch, doing homework and forcing her out the door in the mornings.

Laila's 4th Birthday

My big Laila, I can't believe she is four and in a way hoping we have passed the terrible 3's! She is so independent I feel she wishes things would always go her way. It has been interesting to see how sweet and caring she is with her younger sisters. I love when she is being goofy and fun I think one of her talents is being able to make others laugh! She truly is the life of the party. I am so grateful for the many lessons she teaches me on a daily bases. I am learning to really look at the good in everything and she makes me want to be a better mother and example to others. I LOVE HER SO MUCH!
Whenever I leave Sadie and she begins to cry Laila rushes to hold her and gives her loves.

Another princess party

Birthday cereal and a beautiful cake decorated by Devin

I made her a fort for her bed

DIY project

Last summer I wanted to buy some wicker chairs but never went out to buy some and I think they were to expensive. This year I was dieing to get some and Devin had found the perfect ones for $600 dollars but I am way to cheap to spend that much money even if we had it to spend. I started looking at yard sales and thrift stores. I was so super excited when I came across these at a thrift store for $20. They looked pretty bad and I think Devin was in a bit of a shock when he saw them. I went to work on cleaning them and scrubbing off the flaky pieces and then I sprayed them.

Before
After

They are so beautiful! I am so super happy, the cushions cost more then the chairs! Now I bought fabric to make some pillows for  the back. I love that I have a place to sit when my kids are playing outside and when Devin is weeding!

Sadie 6 months

I can't believe she is 6 months, she is starting to sit up and plays with toys. She weighs 15 pounds.
I have been feeling sad because this might be the last of my baby days. I don't want to forget how much joy I feel when she is doing new things or when she giggles and smiles at me,  but I know I will.

Birthday Time

"Happy Birthday to Lainey" Every time she sees a birthday cake she sings to herself!

My little girls is now two! I am happy that Devin was able to help me decorate the cake by "helping" I mean he did it! I know cake decorating is not his hobby but it should be because he is really good at it.

We try and keep decorations cheap because they only have to last for a day.

This picture says it all! She is always trying to sneak away with food. If  the girls don't eat their food right away she will eat it for them (mostly their fruit and yummy stuff)

Happy Birthday Devin!
I let the girls decorate the cake with candy they picket out at the store. I thought they would do a better job but oh well!

Devin decided they should  eat it without cutting it up. Natalia was totally for it but Laila and Alaina didn't think that was a good idea!

Soccer Day

We put the girls in soccer and I am starting to think soccer is not my kind of sport. The first 3 games were rainy and cold. Now the weather has been to hot but mostly my fault for not coming prepared but Devin works and I only take what I can carry by myself. Natalia's team is so fun to watch they play to win and I love the competition. Laila's team is so funny they get distracted and prance around everywhere.
I don't like how huge their jersey's are!

Natalia loves her couch she gets motivated by all the praise she gives her.

Devin told Laila he would take her out to get ice cream if she made a goal and not 5 minutes later she scored a goal.

What a cute girl!

This is how it is done every Saturday!
